Thanks NSK for the clarification on the rates. If it is 4d then it's the worst written 4 I've ever seen!

As I alluded to earlier, I don't believe the note about the last day of postage was written by the sender. I believe it's been written by a collector at some stage.

Now I see where it is written. Rather clear. I agree. The note, likely, was added later.
