Does anyone have a scan of this stamp with the gray omitted along side the normal stamp. I have 4 of these, 3 appear to have no gray. I would like to see them side by side before I spend the money to have them authenticated.

Thanks

Why not show one of them?

There is no Grey in this stamp.
Check your catalogue.
Thanks for offering Catalogue Number, good practice.

Scott 2020 standard catalogue Australia 388a is listed as gray omitted. Color detector software shows certain areas of the stamp as being gray tinted where the same area on other stamps are white. I wanted to get some input from others before sending it off for authentication.

My apologies rb,
Scott does indeed list that at $5000

Beats me !
Here is my stamp...I fail to see any grey

I wonder if that is a catalogue error? perhaps the brown?

I got the low down on this stamp. Scott catalogue is wrong. It should read "black omitted" The denomination and the tower will be omitted.

Thanks for your help.
