The stamp depicts the painting 'Baudelaire's Mistress, Reclining', also called 'Lady with a fan', from the french painter Édouard Manet (1832 - 1883).

Jeanne Duval (1820 – 1862) was a Haitian-born actress and dancer of mixed French and black African ancestry. For 20 years, she was the muse of French poet and art critic Charles Baudelaire. Édouard Manet, a friend of Baudelaire, painted Duval in 1862. She was, by this time, going blind. (wiki)

The $5 ct stamp depicts the painting 'Portrait of Anna Penchovich', by Nikolai Pavlovich (1835 - 1894), a Bulgarian nationalist painter, lithographer and illustrator.

The stamp depicts the painting 'Postrait of a lady in white', circa 1555, from venetian painter Tiziano Vecellio (Titian) (~1488 - 1576).

Peter Paul Rubens (1577 - 1640) painted the same theme years later and a stamp was also issued by Austria, posted in this topic by KuoLC5310.
