I THINK I OVER DID IT . ------ Came home from health club this week and wife is going nuts . She kept saying "I thought you were going to reduce your stamps after you retired " again and again .

I told her yes ! that is what I planned . Then she says go look at the front porch of the house . I go out there and there is 20 huge boxes from Kelleher Stamps Auctions . After looking at them and seeing they are well packed and in good shape ,walk back into the house and told her "they are not mine " . All I heard is "that is B.S. " ok !! {more later after she settles down}.

Still, you'll be able to make the boxes into a glamping tent now you're living on the porch.

Con't --------- I don't buy Kilo ware . These are four orders or four different lots of stockbooks , red boxes of some 15,000 dealer cards ,a two different series of albums total cost to ship was over $700.00 .That has to be a record for the STAMP COMMUNITY , shipping a whole pallet of 600 lbs .

I was NOT lying when I said they are for someone else, I just get to pick thru it and take out what I want to keep and then get paid back after they get sold over a few months .

Tomorrow I will get a check out to Kelleher , with a note thanking them for the auction and service in getting everything to me safe .

Yeah, I use that line too.

All my stamps and covers are "for someone else" as I am only caring for them until the next generation collector comes along at the time I am no longer needed to be safely keeping the material pending transfer to others.

@uboatnut, your second illustration is why I don't collect baseball memorabilia.

I can't even begin to imagine how much fun it would be to go through 20 boxes of material. Hopefully you'll share any nice items you pull for your collection.
