If you are referring to the first stamp - no, that is not an error. Some stamps of this issue came imperforate on one or two sides

Oh ok so it's ok for there to be 3 perforated sides with one imperforated...didn't know that...I have other US stamps with one straight edge but unsure if they were cut intentionally...

The one I was referring to was the second actually because it was printed much lower than the others...

The stamp image printed from a medal plate does not move at all. Rather the perforation applied after printing is what varies in location. Yours is an example of an acceptable amount of perforation location movement, while it is true such is less desirable to most stamp collectors. When the perforation cut 20% or more into the design, that become a significant and quite collectible "perforation freak."

The term "error" is generally reserved for a mistake in printing: something out of the ordinary with the colors (missing, different, additional), the center or frame upside down, or a misspelled word, that sort of thing.

Not really a matter or "OK" or "not OK." It's just how some stamps are designed. Coil stamps only have perforations on two opposing sides, and straight edges on the other two, for example. The example you have (first pic) was in the bottom row of the sheet when it was printed; its original companions to the left and right would've looked the same, while the stamps above it would have perforations all-around. The top row would be straight along the top edge, and the other three would have perfs.

Trinket,
I am more puzzled by the images showing pieces clipped from postcards, yet still having the rest of the cards closely aligned with the cuts.
Are you cutting stamp off postcards? If so, please pause. The value of the intact post cards is so much greater than the stamps, and similarly, the value of the cancels is too.

Well spotted, I missed that.

Trinket, I would urge you to take John's advice.
