The Universal Postal Union has decided not to register the "Azerbaijan 2020" postage stamps issued by Azerbaijan in their database, as those stamps contradict the relevant provisions of the Union Convention and Code of Conduct.
If these are real issues from the government of that country, it's pretty astonishing. Spraying disinfectant (or whatever that's supposed to be) on formerly Armenian territory which Azerbaijan recently seized is a pretty low road to take especially for images intended for international distribution. That sort of thing is normally reserved for local political cartoons and posters and certainly not for outside the country. Hate speech, or whatever you want to call it, is not generally permitted in stamps or diplomacy. Nice job, Azerbaijan, in producing some very nasty stamps that do more to demean you than anything else.
I have collected Azerbaijani stamps for a few years. It is interesting that it is VERY difficult to find a sheet with that topper intact; most dealers advertise this issue with the top selvedge removed.
