At the risk of being obtuse I will say that I am still puzzled by the two threads (one closed and this one a successful end run) related to the same damaged stamp. If it was all about asking about some perceived "doubling" why not just get to the point in the opening comment in thread one?

I wasn't asking about the "doubling" (you know I do that on other threads :)
The point was (without a clear picture and understanding things become generalized) brains wired that way
(300 views on first post 5 comments before it was deleted)
Nobody cared about a damaged stamp cause it looked like all the rest posted by someone easily missunderstood :)
But after a better picture and explanation you can see there's something
Maybe not "doubling" but something.

*Again so I'm clear stamps retail value 0.00$*

Just_fella - I appreciate your enthusiasm. My point is that people will start skipping your posts if they think that they are frivolous. Not being critical just trying to offer some food for thought.

Cheers

Stamp Value is $ -0.05, i'm thinking you'd have to pay someone 5 cent to take it.

as for the other subject, it's from a lack of ink on the cliché, dirty clichés or because the cliché is worn down, you'll find that it's a very common thing. Especially in that era of stamp production.

Well I guess that's what it is :)
Seeing I don't have the words(yet) to justify my "doubling" call
All I can really do is show three photos That gave me reason to say "doubling"
What ever it is, under inked, dirty or what have you..it gives her a nice aura.
I thank all of you for putting up with my tilted ways
