Hi everyone, I recently came into possession of this large folder of Operation cornflake. Apparently, this was issued by Kenmore company in 1993. It came with the certificate of authenticity and the original paperwork with it.

I personally do not know anything about stamps and am confused because I can't really find information on this set or what it's worth (if anything). Any leads or information would be more than appreciated. Thanks!

The SCF search is your friend:

There are even more posts about this subject.

I am puzzled that you already have enough information included that you could look up more information on the issues plus valuation from any number of sellers. It is more properly "Operation Cornflakes", but autofill should have turned that up.

Yes, there is discussion about these three stamps and nothing but. They are in the above internal links. There are no other such OSS forgeries. All you would need to do is click a link in one of the above posts for images and appropriate articles and you did not.

You already have enough information included with the stamps. A Google search on the net on these issues would give valuations from any number of sellers. It is more properly "Operation Cornflakes", but autofill should have turned that up.

We are not here to do things for you that you could so easily do yourself. Grow up.

Googling "Operation Cornflakes" alone gives me over 8000 results. If you're using a phone, you will get fewer results. Just our SCF threads should tell most if not nearly all the story if you bothered reading them.

We normally cannot do valuation since all we are looking at is a scan, not showing gum quality nor necessarily proper colors among other factors. Plus, do you want a wholesale value (what someone will buy it for) or retail (what someone will sell it for)? Your folder gives the factors to determine genuineness. Otherwise everything else you see that purports to be the OSS postal forgeries are forgeries made for collectors.

Yes I can find plenty of history of operation cornflakes. That's a given. Your comment is exactly what my question was. You state about the folder. I asked specifically about this particular set from Kenmore. I've tried finding more information on the history of this folder, which is not as easy as a google search.

I'm not here to have everyone do the leg work, I've tried researching this folder. However instead of any assistance I just get told to google it. It gives forums a bad name. I simply posted to see if anyone knew additional information on this folder (which is what I assumed a forum was for)

The folder was seemingly not what you were asking about.

Kenmore is a large company that has been selling stamps and coins for many years. The folder is just a fancy package since they obviously came into a large number of these stamps, enough to justify creating these folders. Nice, but I doubt anyone would pay much of anything for just the folder today over the selling price of the stamps. You can be sure that the original buyer paid for the cost of that folder, too.

This is a very specific and limited package and unless someone happened to buy one whenever it was being sold AND remembered the details, I doubt anyone here could give you more info. for there are many, many other packages like this in the stamp and coin worlds where we don't have any details like date of release. If you want a history of the folder, Kenmore still exists and you could ask them directly:
