Show has been great, busy and seeing a lot of old friends. Alas, it ends tomorrow.

I'm curious about the show's mask policy for dealers and attendees. Mandated, recommended, is anyone wearing them?

Masks were recommended. Someone on another forum mentioned that about half of the attendees were wearing masks and many of the pictures posted on FB showed a fair number of people without masks.

On Friday I would estimate only 30% of attendees and 2/3 of dealers wearing masks at the show.

At the joint RPSL USPCS dinner on Thursday night, there were 110 attendees and about three masks.

I went not really knowing what to expect. I was impressed. This was the biggest show I ever saw. So many dealers!

I had preregistered, but decided at the last minute not to go with COVID flaring up down here in our state. Even though I am vaccinated, I didn't want to take the chance of bringing the virus with me or bringing it home. Maybe being too conservative, but there will be other shows (hopefully) in the future. Next year in Sacramento, a lot closer to our home, assuming this whole thing calms down by then.

It should be mentioned with regards to masks, that this show was in a Convention Center. So the room was L-shaped, 1000 feet long by 500 to 1000 feet wide, with 30 foot high ceilings and an excellent air system. This was not a typical hotel ballroom type show, such as CHICAGOPEX, WESTPEX, or Boxborough, with everyone crowded into a much smaller space.

The only really crowed time/place was the crowd waiting to get in the first day.
