Hello,

I am new here so I apologize for my eventually naive question:

Is this a Watermark , a "P" on the 1 Cent Franklin? I have more of the same stamp, but none have something that look similar to a watermark...

there is an article in the November 2012 issue of "The United States Specialist" on the U.S. Scott #279 watermark varieties
