Offered for giveaway is this set of four (4) 1929 covers, each from the lumber broker John Burrell & Co. of Liverpool, a major importer of hardwood for English and European furniture, to McIntyre Co. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, a large hardwood mill that primarily produced hickory, each with a different steamship etiquette, each with at least one PUC definitive, each with a CDS in the period 21 May to 16 July 1929 and an exposition cancel. An attractive grouping.

Enter me please. It looks like a diligent clerk took these to the same post office at the same time every day, possibly on his (or her) way home from work. Interesting to note also that in the ensuing 92 years the cost to send a letter from the UK to the US has gone up at least 150 fold. I'm sure that the reverse - US to UK - hasn't gone up anywhere near that many times
