One of the challenges that those of us who collect NAMW covers run into is the town collector. Some people collect town cancels and will snap up NAMW covers for that reason, not caring about their particular historical significance. Don't get me wrong, though, I'm a firm believer that everyone should collect whatever they want for whatever reason that strikes them. The important thing is to have fun!

I am a collector of NAMW, some state air mail week covers, and New England Air Mail Week covers. I use the NAMWHS 2012 DVD-R and a 1995 hardcopy for Massachusetts (my specialty). Currently attempting an article on May 19 pick-up day covers for the Cape Cod area. I would be happy to participate in the compilation of an on-line color catalog.

There is a microfilm record of all NAMW flights showing plane, pilot, destination route, and most importantly amount of mail carried in the postal archives. I do not have a more specific location for you but John Becker might. He has a print out of Indiana NAMW activity which he shared with me years ago.
