I recently purchased a stamp collection from a late friends estate sale. I did not intend to become a philatelic but have had a lot of fun searching through this collection. I think this stamp is very similar to an imperforate error but am not sure. Thanks for the help!

EFO misperf with maybe a cut/ripped top? You would need the stamp above/below it attached to prove it was an actual imperf

They do and are listed as Scott 598 as mentioned already. Here is a used line pair, miscut but not as much:

yes. agree with assessments. def a coil miscut. Sorry, on my small phone screen it wasnt rendering the same way.
