Some years back a seller in the UK listed pages to house a collection of their stamps with numeric cancels. I bought this on a disk but now cannot find it. Anyone know if this or something similar may still be out there?

Many thanks!

Not come across anything like that, in my travels.
If you find it, please let us know.

Numbers should be around.......
England 1,741 Pmks
Scotland 902
Wales 412
Ireland 564

My other numeral collection is GB, but only on 1d reds.

These are the sorts collections that grow over time.

Why not use a stockbook or hagners instead?

It would offer a lot more flexibility as your collection grows.

I wonder how extensive the seller's pages were, particularly for big offices (eg: Manchester) where there are so many different types, including duplexes!

I would opt for Stockbook or Hagners, married to an image based database.

The easiest way to insert stamps in their correct order in the Hagners
when part strikes of duplexes arrive.

One can shift images to and fro, so much easier, DIGITALLY until satisfied, then move in the Hagners.

Nice page Rod

This is how I do my GB numerals. Cropped from a 64 page stockbook.

I just create a table in my word processor and print out what I need when I need it.

As always, to each their own!

Nice Page Bobby

Absolutely !

The only negative I have with employing a spreadsheet alone,
is when the collection is on-sold in later years.
All that hard work, is lost.

With our method, the work is done, and is passed on to the next collector, encouraging like work.

When I was buying from North America, full page descriptive Postmark
collections, like the one I showed were realising $20-$35 each US.

Nice to see a LYME REGIS duplex
being a West Country boy myself.

Part of the JURASSIC COAST
birthplace of Mary Anning, one of history's most important fossil collectors and palaeontologists.

Let's hope she finally gets a statue in her honour.

PS "Regis" relates to belonging to the King, similar to KING's LYNN Norfolk, you only have it as LYNN

Mary Anning Update
The schoolgirl was outraged to discover there was no statue. Now, despite setbacks due to the coronavirus pandemic, Evie's campaign has raised 70,000 enough to commission the statue. It is hoped it can be unveiled in Lyme Regis in May 2022 on the anniversary of Anning's birthday.19 Jan 2021

Some of the nicest hot chips I ever had were at Lyme Regis!

$20-$35 for each page or for each postmark Rod? Surely the former?

Indeed.
I went mainly for the Stitt-Dibden stuff, pmks on printed matter,
was outbid on most other stuff.

Wow! Chip,
fascinating stuff, your awards speak more highly than I can offer.
Needs to be re-visted
Learnt about pre separation methods, photographic forgery,
First time seeing the Ivory Head.
Awesome.

I've seen Chip's display before. Brilliant stuff!!

I also like how Chip has plated some of the numeral postmarks. Next level philately right there.
