The "owner" or ringleader of the cartel, Philip Ryle, has his principle offices in Her Majesty's penitentiary system while serving a sentence for tax fraud. I doubt that any address will have a body sitting there. A live one anyway. His girlfriend helps him and is out of New Jersey.

Ryle's former eBay IDs bank-notes and stampsandcover are now both NARUd, but he is as active as ever using new IDs bargaindea1s and more recently rare-stamps1. All the stamp listings by ID rare-stamps1 falsely show the item location as "Bristol, USA", while on listings of other items like clothing, he shows the location as "Bristol, UK". See for example items # 203691245805 and # 203682544936.

All those listings violate eBay selling rules, and today I alerted them about that. He is in fact still based in Weston-super-Mare, as shown by the dialling code 01934 on his website here: https://rarestamps.net/contact-us/

It is simple to confirm that they are the same person. eBay item # 255206539834 is an 1840 twopence blue with a distinctive red postmark. The same stamp appears on his website here :
https://rarestamps.net/product/gb-1...-4-cat-1200/

The listings by his other current ID bargaindea1s (note numeral 1 instead of letter l) also misrepresent the location all the stamps are falsely shown as located in London. See for example item # 294483322976, which he is also selling on the same website here :
https://rarestamps.net/product/new-...w-cat-75-00/

These new IDs are certainly the same seller as the old ones. eBay item # 203690093145 is a badly cleaned & faded Cape triangle which he previously listed at the start of 2021 using ID bank-notes :

As a triangles guy, I spotted that he was falsely describing it as a mint SG 5a (Perkins Bacon) when it's clearly got the major retouch on the E of HOPE which only occurs on the DLR printing. It's a severely cleaned carmine, with a CV less than half of what he claims.

All his listing which have images in the description always use the same online image service. For example;

The forger Philip Ryall's recent accounts rare-stamps1 and resolsft have recently been de-registered by eBay, presumably for rule violations. But his other accounts usstamps1 and bargaindea1s are still live, with nearly 3700 items for sale on the first, no current listings on the 2nd. As before, ID usstamps1 shows a mixture of item locations ; US stamps are generally shown as located in New York, whereas the commonwealth items are shown as being in the UK.

His eBay store for ID usstamps1 shows what looks like a US phone number - +1 518-660-1990 . That's puzzling, because his website is still live and located here in UK with a UK phone number. Would anyone on that side of the pond care to give that number a try?

Very quick work by eBay this time. Today ID usstamps1 is NARUd .

For some reason, they have left ID bargaindea1s operating, even though I reported both IDs in the same message. And no doubt he will bounce back with more accounts. Let's keep those reports coming in, folks ...

Serial counterfeiter Philip Ryle recently changed his ID yet again, and opened a new scammer account. Username bargaindea1s is now changed to rare.stamps , and his newest ID is king-eddie .

Great info Nemo. King-eddie is Ryle's prison bride's nickname.

I'm pleased to say that following a detailed report direct to eBay UK's head of Stamps category, both of Ryle's current selling accounts (king-eddie and rare.stamps) are now de-registered.

Given the amount of shill bidding he has done on his sold items recently, it seems likely that he will have several other bought-in usernames waiting to replace these accounts.
