I always wondered, the genesis of these French Cinderellas.

I have others similar regarding French Tourism.
They always had a better quality to them, than most cinderellas.

Here is a full sheet of French cinderellas from "La Belle France" series,including views of French Indochina,Madagascar and French India


They were issued in five different colours

Thank you, Vayolene, for the nice "La Belle France" sheet. I am looking for this sheet (no matter the color).

During the 1930's, French Chocolate companies used to issue playing cards for children that they can fill in albums and receive prizes when complete the album. Among the many albums issued, several dedicated to the countries and colonies of the world. Here the cover of an album issued by Chocolate Pupier for Asian countries and colonies:

The images I have are of "La Belle France"
not mine, just used for references
Source unknown, maybe auction ref.

The others I have are "Aid to Musicians"

Hi Eli,
took some time finding them, I now have two albums chock full of French Cinderellas and Ephemera.

The Aid to Musicians, I have in claret?, black and blue.

I also have the "La Belle France" I found back of book, so I include those also (One is inscribed Chocolat Kwatta)

PS: Thanks for the "chocolate Cards" you sent me....They are treasured
