This letter caught my eye because it didn't have the "normal" city and state cds. I was wondering what the "IR. CLK." is referring to? The back has similar cancellations for both Hartford and Dobbs Ferry.
Ok, that makes sense. Thanks for the information. So am I right in saying that the letter was likely mailed/dropped at the train station, then cancelled by the transfer clerk at the station, stamped again by someone else while in transit, then stamped recv'd by the Dobbs Ferry Post Office?
