I took a covid break from sorting and cataloging. I'm not sure why, just part of the world pandemic of craziness.

Speaking of world, here is a fresh box of world stamps I just opened; I have 5 more just like this one that is at least two inches deep. This is gonna take a while!

Nice starting mixture ,I remember starting my collecting of stamps with mixtures just like this . They were called "orange bags " or the bigger "missionary mixture box " they were sold by H.E.Harris Co of Boston Mass.

Yes that was it ........sure enjoy spreading everything out on the floor in the bedroom and sitting there soaking stamps off paper .

Also got their catalog of stamp offers and supplies . I had the yellow album that sold at Woolworths for 50 cents and dreamed of getting the next larger album which was the Discovery album that cost $1.00...then the Travelers Album which was $2.00 or $2.50 ....then the huge Regency Album at $10.00 ....never thought I would advance to the three volume Standard Series {I still got my Standard set }.

The International's {Big Blues } were too advance so that set never entered my dream of advancing that far .

It was a fun journey .
