Deliberate obfuscation and a willingness to do deliberate harm for shabby political purposes is easy enough to see. All one has to do is be willing to open their eyes. My link has nothing to do with "research".

On same theme, India suspended mail service to the USA for the same reason, Covid, specifically Covid impacts, on December 8th 2021 to last until at least January 31, 2022. No mail for the USA will be accepted in India during the period.

Ordered a nice cover on eBay from Mumbai to the States. India Post tells me it's been sitting in the Mumbai Airport Sorting Office since November 13. I wonder if this directive will affect its further travels, or if this just applies to the collection of new mail on and after December 8?

The mail service to Australia is NOT suspended due to fear of Covid transmission from mail pieces but rather because of transport issues:

Just to point out that, until the last quarter, Astra Zeneca sold its vaccine in a not-for-profit basis, and, as I understand it, intends to continue to do so when supplying to poorer countries.

A second source also indicates the suspension applies to New Zealand as well.
