Hello. I was going through a collection I bought last year and I found what is think is a US Scott # UX27D Die II.
Can anyone help to identify if I have the more valuable variation?
Thank you,
Robert

It does appear to be. Nice.
I've always wished to find one in the bottom of some old odd box lot.

Hi Pat. Thanks for the response. This was in a large crate of several homemade binders and I was excited to find it with the possibility it could be the UX27D.
What is the S39 in your response picture?
Thanks again,
Bob

United Postal Stationery Society

If you enjoy postal stationary envelopes and cards you should look into joining.
They also offer several specialized catalogs that are very helpful.

The S39 is their reference number in their catalog.

$450 for mint pre-printed (yours). $20,000 for mint as issued

Hi Pat. Thanks for the info. Wish it was not preprinted.....oh well. Still a pretty valuable anyway.
the link looks pretty interesting. At $28.00 per year, it seems to be worth it. I will probably join.
Thanks again!
Bob
