New Member Here. Very New To Stamps

Hello blackie, welcome to the board. I am another new person, and they are just wonderful about helping people with information about stamps and all things philatelic. I personally know more about the military rather than stamps, I served in the US Army back in the early seventies - since that was almost 50 years ago now, I suppose I don't know much about the military anymore either. At any rate, you are most welcome here!

What are you after with the stamps you've posted (no pun intended)? They're obviously USA (Scott C25, from 1941) and Italy (Scott 219 from 1929). They're common and don't have any monetary value, is there something specific about them you want to know?

Blackie; You may have less trouble posting your pics if you'd turn your phone to "landscape" position, and also can save space ( or post larger pics) by trimming all the background away from the stamp.
