This is listed in Scott, my inventory software and by Steiner as a coil yet it is perf 13 1/2 X 14. How can that be?

Why shouldn't a coil stamp be perforated on all four sides? My memory of GB coils is that they always were.

With these stamps, I believe there are counting/control numbers on the backs of every fifth stamp on the coil roll, just as with the German coil stamps.

Well I guess I am learning something. I always thought coils had two perf sides and two straight edges. Thanks for the quick responses!

The French Sower (perfed on 4 sides) 10c stamp was sold in coil form (Rouletted) first time in 1908.After the rolls had 600 or 1200 stamps in the machines.Over the years other sower stamps were available in coil form.
