Happy New Year for everybody. I am trying to 0rganize mt stamps from Germany, Actually it is a bit complicated. Can somebody help me. I would like to show these stamps to my students. Thank You in advance.
If it's to inspire students, maybe chronological order will be less interesting than organizing by topics, at least after WWII. This way they'll see how each of the Germanies treated the same topics, and which topics were more unique to each country, and so on.
Thank you very much to helping me. I have the stamps in a box. During the first term they sorted the stamps (Put the stamps in a box) Now they have to organize them into Empire, Weimar Republic, Third Reich, BRD, DDR, modern reunified. Perhaps also overseas and occupations. I think We are going to consult stampworld.com. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME
If you have examples, you can start pre-Germany, with the various states, including Austria (which Prussia expelled from "Germany" in the 1860s). Then the Empire, including the grisly overseas adventures, Weimar and Hitler. Then the Allied occupations and the division into two entities, plus Berlin, before reunification. It's an interesting way to teach - I hope it goes well.
