This is Scott UC3 die 2a 6.5mm size wmk 39 (1941) does this make sense? now add on the first day issue of 1942 I am even more confused.

4/15/42 was the dedication of the MacArthur Post office in West Virginia.

My old Brookman lists a cacheted version for $50.

MacArthur, West Virginia (WV), a community in Raleigh County, was named in honor of General Douglas MacArthur.

*Originally, it was named Hollywood
