Help Identify Japanese Stamps, Maybe Tax?

In a lot I bought long ago I found these 4 stamps (the fifth small one is just for scale).
I don't think that they are postage stamps. Thanks for any opinion and experience sharing.

1st, 2nd and 4th are Japanese Revenue stamps.
1 & 2 General Revenue 1898 tax
4th Tobacco rev. 1883

The 8 yen may be postage
Yes, 8 yen is Sc#486 1949 Tsubouchi

So 1st and 2nd are revenue, 3rd postage stamp and 4th tobacco rev. The overprint on the 2nd didn't change the usage of it, it remained revenue?

Suggestion:
No, Remains an Revenue stamp, I believe that is an automatic till impression, from a receipt.
You may be able to note a line of punctures between the vertical script.

That new stamp image
Looks to me like the typical Currency Value Fount of TAIWAN
I'll have a dekko at my database
But feel I have never seen this before.

I assumed that the 2 sen and 10 sen were issued together, and the 2 sen was issued with overprint later on.
Can you give any tips on how to find and identify such stamps? I couldn't find the first two in Forbin. I guess you found them in a hard copy of specialized catalog.

You're right again, the 5th is Taiwan's 1960 "Inauguration of Taiwan Cross-Island Highway".

If this were the case, It would be listed in Scott.
(if a postage Opt)

Happy to stand corrected, but I remain with a Till cancellation.

The stamp is a common General revenue (1898-1946)
Meiji White paper.

The 3rd stamp is a Japanese postage stamp: issued 1950, SG 560, Scott #483, Shoyo Tsubouchi (dramatist).
