The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is an international organization working on issues regarding the conservation, research and restoration of world fauna, flora, landscapes, water and soil. Among the WWF issues, it concerned with the protection of endangered species. These species are at risk of becoming extinct because they are either few in numbers or threatened by changing environmental parameters.

To raise awareness to the endangered species issue, countries issue stamps depicting endangered animals and plants of their region. The WWF emblem, the Giant Panda, appears on the stamps.

One of my main thematic collections is about primates (Apes, monkeys and prosimians) in all aspects, including endangered primates on WWF stamps. Here I will show the issued WWF stamps and items I have in my album. I will show mainly monkeys but also several sets show other endangered species I have in my collections. Please, join me and show your WWF stamps and items.

Rod,

I collect only monkeys hence I have stamps about endangered monkeys on WWF stamps. The set I showed in my first post was only for introduction. From now I will post only monkeys. But no problem to post other WWF stamps, so we have one thread for all kind of species.

OK Eli, if you are sure.
I have about 50 WWF, absolutely none on Primates,
which was a surprise.
Mine are all sorts, not as nicely presented as up to your standard.

Here is a nice cover sent from Algeria to HK in 1990 franked with two copies of the Barbary Macaque WWF set that youpiao posted:

Usually, a set of four maxi cards and a set of four FDC's were accompany each WWF set issued. These maxi cards and FDC's were issued by an agent (I think in Switzerland) with a permission of the postal authorities, so they are legitimate philately items.

Here is the set of four maxi cards of the Algerian Barbary Macaque:

1985 Denmark Cinderellas.
Varfluelarve (Spring Fly Larvae)

Croatia

And a cautionary tale.
BATUM Badger
No funds going to charity here, I suspect, rather lining pockets.
At least it serves as a promotion for the WWF.

As I have written in the first post, my main collection is Monkeys and most of my WWF sets show monkeys, but I have several WWF sets with other animals in my countries collections, Israel and Laos. Here is one set from Israel issued on February 7, 2011 shows Persian's Leopard (Panthera pardus saxicolor):
