Looking for any information and verification about this stamp. Not is Scott's Catalog but is in Brazil's RHM as RE-54. Anyone have more information on these stamps?

Probably a hand cancel. Possibly a proof school trying too research the stamp.

Suggestion:
Hand script cancel from iron gall ink.

First example I have of wavy line cancel (and quite scarce)
is a machine cancel from 1920
another from 1980

subcool; could you post the page where RE-54 is in the RHM cat. ?
