Thank you. I started a coin and stamp business in the early 1970s and started saving some of the profits, I then started an electronics business and closed the stamp and coin business, keeping the stamps of significance and started buying scarce and rare stamps. I eventually closed the electronics business and created a computer repair business which I had for 33 years, in the process buying more scarce and rare stamps. I retired myself due to health issues and now spend time buying scarce and rare stamps from a stamp company specialising in scarce and rare Australian and Commonwealth stamps. I am very specific with the stamps I buy, they must be in perfect condition unless it is impossible to find another (I have a block of 4 and a single stamp that are one-of-a-kind and extremely rare).
Thank you for the reply, You've done well for yourself, I'm always impressed seeing what you show us. Do you include things like rare postmarks as well?
I also collect varieties and errors as well as overprints, specimens are my favourites, but the stamps would need to be specifically Australian or New Zealand.
