Not sure if this is even the correct forum. I tried to find others like this but none with attached receipt. Is this a common find? I don't collect this type of item so I am planning on selling if worth while.

Interesting. Have not seen similar.

2˘ - Postage will be paid by - 2˘.

Post Card postage in 1928 was 1˘. Maybe something in the regs about attachments ?

There was an additional fee for Business Reply Mail, paid by the addressee. That is the additional 1 cent.

I like how you get the books now with the promise to pay later, I'm sure that would go over well today, perhaps Amazon should try this model.

Value: imo, irregularly toned and not ever mailed, thus greatly reduced monetary value to the philatelic market, perhaps worth about the cost of mailing it someone today. The stub would make it easy to slip into the fold of a saddle-stitched magazine for original distribution.
