Interesting news - don't believe I've seen this topic as yet, an announcement about barcodes being added to all UK definitives, and old definitives being invalid as of Jan 2023.
Interesting, but bad news - the first GB stamps to become unusable since decimalisation. The effect on the face value market can only be bad, but will be delayed by the "swap out" scheme once that comes into effect. I wonder whether Royal Mail relaises how much of a short-term liability it's creating for itself?
