S.a.n. Moving To Yearly Memberships?

looks like the free ride on SAN is coming to an end. They are moving to a subscription based model. Looks like membership cost will be $49.99 or $79.99 per year depending on the level you like. There is also an infrequent membership of $19.99 per year for people with less than 50 bids lifetime.

Are they worth paying for? Why wouldn't I just go directly to the auction site?

They are doing this all wrong . Charge a access fee to those who don't bid and then have a minium to using their system for those who only bid less than 10 or 20 times a year ,over that number it should be free .

If they go with a standard fee ,I believe people will walk and the danger is it could be some good clients.They can slap the low lifes freeby types but don't screw around with the long time active bidders who the auction houses depend on .
