I have had tickets of some sort, I can't recall offhand the year but they were 1920s/30s, and had a picture of a nurse on them so I gave them to a nurse friend of mine who collects medicine stamps. They looked more like tickets than stamps, but they were in a large collection... They were about 2"x3" each. Grayish black background, may have had control numbers. They looked like the actual tickets... not quite the same as the ones in the photo above.
That is literally all I know about the subject but they were for a "sweepstakes" of some sort.
