Here's a Curtiss Model D biplane and its pilot entertaining the crowd at the Antigo Wis. 1913 state fair. The people standing atop the building roof at far right probably aren't just trying to get closer to the aeroplane, but instead wanting less crowds around to spoil their unimpeded viewing. This card was never mailed, azo stamp boxwith 4 arrows up)
The use of airplanes to deliver the mail was still five years away at this time.

Apart from just selling postcards at these fairs during this era they also sold other trinkets.
Below is a souvenir that is thought to be sold at one of these fairs where they had air shows.
It's 25 MM across, weighs 5.8 Grams and is Magnetic, Circa 1910-20.
