Kellehe'sr Next Collection Auction In March 2022

I watched quite a lot of todays auction. I didn't really want anything but I thought I'd watch to make sure there were no "steals". I'm kind of proud of myself I never clicked once, maybe I'm learning retraint!

I also watch parts of the Kelleher Auction and must say the buyers were there and they were willing to fight for what they wanted . I wanted one lot and had to pay up to get it ,the lot was British but had a good selection of the early plate numbers .

That is three strong auctions for the large lots in the past month ,Cherrystone then Dutch and now Kelleher , large mix lots or box lots are selling well at auction .

Nothing for me either today, I got some nice material at both Dutch Country and Maresch in the last couple weeks, so just had my eye on a few in case no one else was much interested. Bidding seemed active.

I stopped my wandering finger from hitting the bid button several times during the Kelleher auction. All I needed to do was to glance over at the mountain of covers I won at Dutch Country and my hand would magically return to its rest position. Plenty of lots in Kelleher flew right past the high estimates, and there was little during the two days for bottom-feeders.
