I noted the Australia 1919 1½d Brown King George V Head Single Watermark P14½ x 14 [ASCS 85] comes with many other minor (unlisted) varieties/flaws. These are probably not major flaws that warrant to be listed in the BW (Brusden White) KGV Australian Commonwealth Specialist Catologue. Hopefully this topic will generate some interests for the Australia KGV Heads Collectors to share some of their interesting finds. Philatelic is meant to be fun and there are always new discoveries along the way.

Sharing some of these 1919 1½d Brown KGV Head. More to come when I have time to look into more from my KGV Head Collection. Happy Collecting.

1919 1½d Brown King George V Head Single Watermark P14½ x 14 [ASCS 85] with HAI.FPENCE (3L26) and WHITE DOT after 2 in 1½ on left value tablet.

Ninhao. The 1 1/2 KGV, Die I is a rabbit-hole, so good luck with this one. I frequent another forum where they have set up a Wiki section on this and other KGV stamps. Those Wiki sections are many, many pages long.

Please note that I also have the 3L26, but my version does not have the small dot after the 2 in the left value tablet. It does, however, have a prominent dot between the S and T of Postage, just above. Always interesting things to find when you have time.

Greeting Partime. Thanks for sharing. I am aware of the forum you are referring to. Many KGV experts and the pages has grown up to 440+ pages. It is becoming difficult to lookup for something unless you post a query. They are a few members who are very helpful and quick to help. I also noted your name in that forum. I feel more confortable here in this forum and will frequent here more often.

KGV era has many suprises and am sure they are also many new discoveries waiting. Apart from Australian KGV Heads, I am also concentrating on the 1935 KGV Silver Jubilee Omnibus Series. They are many other minor flaws apart from those listed in Stanley Gibbon Catalogue in the 1935 KGV SJ. I managed to pickup a few and shared with some collectors. Will start sharing these 1935 KGV SJ in the near future.

Have a good day/evening.

1919 1½d Brown ~ King George V Head Single Watermark P14¼ x 14 [ACSC 85] with Break in Top Frame, right of Crown postal history with GUNNEDAH, N.S.W. circular postmark addressed to Sau Labuo, Labrislock St, Drummoyne dated 4.SE.19##.

Gunnedah is a town situated within the Liverpool Plains, in north-eastern New South Wales, Australia. Gunnedah and the surrounding areas were originally inhabited by Aboriginal Australians speaking the Kamilaroi (Gamilaraay) language. The name of the town in Kamilaroi means Place of White Stones. The area now occupied by the town was settled by European sheep farmers in 1833 or 1834. With settlement in the area focused on wool production, Gunnedah was initially known as The Woolshed until taking its name from the local Indigenous people who called themselves the Gunn-e-darr, the most famous of whom was Cumbo Gunnerah.

Dorothea Mackellar wrote her famous poem My Country (popularly known as I Love a Sunburnt Country) about her family's farm near Gunnedah. This is remembered by the annual Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Awards for school students held in Gunnedah. The town is the home town of supermodels Miranda Kerr and Erica Packer.
