Hi everyone.
I have been collecting stamps on and off since 1955, ever since I swapped my fathers stamp collection for a packet of cigarettes javascript:insertsmilie('')
I have got, what I believe, a fairly large collection covering the whole world, but mainly Germany, France and USA and British Commonwealth (including GB) but only earlier than 1990.
They have been bought from almost everywhere or donated/inherited.
However, at 78, my wife has told me that they have to go before I do, so I am gradually getting rid of them via eBay but it is very slow.

Well Edward Wharton-Tigar swapped his mother's stamp collection for cigarette cards My experience is that, unless you sell off large job-lots, it's always slow-going! Good luck.
