Anyone recognize the writing on this cover that I dug out of a box lot? I'm thinking Nepalese but am unsure. It appears to be a stampless cover (I see no indication of a stamp having been removed). Also, any info on the cool markings found verso would be helpful.

It could be from Burma?

Could be, Peter. The Hindi figures on the bottom of the front are throwing me off the scent, though. I'm hoping someone will recognize the markings which should provide the answer (maybe LOL). Thanks.

According to a poster on a different board, this is indeed Nepalese. Its an official mail cover made out of the typical translucent paper used for this purpose.
