Going through a box of old covers on a rainy morning I can't help but wonder why Central America and Mexico didn't get a larger following.
I know there are collectors but they pale in numbers compared to the European countries and GB and their commonwealths. I love the turn of the century covers, colorful, ornate strikes, aux markings, franking combos, these have a lot going for them visually.
Strange that you mention this only because on a whim last night I decided to see what covers were fetching on eBay and much to my surprise (only found 2 train covers) the ones I found sold for $35 & $50.
