In the UK it is now common to see post-boxes with knitted images of the Royal Family added to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee.

Here is one I passed this morning.

Please post your pictures of similar post-box decorations in this post.

I have no idea who started this fashion or what percentage of UK post boxes have been decorated.
