Hi everyone - my first question on here. Can you help me interpret this note from the Scott catalog for #1363 which was the 1968 Christmas stamp of the Van Eyck painting of the annunciation done on the Huck press:
"P# blocks come in two versions: (1) 7 P#, 3 ME; (2) 8 P#, 2 ME."
I wondering what "ME" stands for? I couldn't find it in the abbreviation section. As I understand it, this was the first stamp printed with the new 9-color press and there were issues that resulted in variations. The ME is probably something obvious but it isn't clicking. Thanks!
