those two varities I found in Forbin als Erler catalogs :
the distance between "den" and frame is 4mm its type a in erler catalog number AJ82A issued 1882.



this one is type b in catalog erler ,also found in forbin catalog issued 1887 the distance between "den" and the frame is 1- 2 mm.



this one I didnt met in both catalogs did any one has information about thw word "den" touch the frame .

Just an observation not based on any catalog, but I would think that this is just a shift during printing. Very common with multi color prints. Probably the same stamp as one above.

Also, there is a separate sub forum dedicated to BOB stamp here. You may want to move your question there.

@danko thanks dear for your opinion but catalogs mentioned two types as I said , never referred to complete touch also I inspect two many of these stamps for years I didnt get any one with no seperation distance range from 1-4 mm this is the reason I asked may be someone more specialized can give more light, ok I will try move the topic after some time.

Mottaz, danko is correct. These stamps were printed in two stages, and it was not very important where exactly the overprint was.

dear you can check that from ERLER catalog and from FORBIN catalog

if you search any source talk about these revenues you will get only variety 1-2 mm or 4mm and this recorded.

Note that the Erler catalog describes the position of "den" in type B as "2 mm and less from left frame line." Touching the line qualifies as less than 2 mm.

@erliaz I think if describe this as two types must be distinct range and border if less mean touch or 2mm or less than 2 and type a is 4 then there is no need to be a variety as it may be in any place thats my opinion so lets ask the question in another way did any one have the stamp with touching border and if he got many items what is the percentage of touching the border.
