I stepped out of my comfort zone and bought a stock book with better European stamps. I'd like to try and identify any obvious forgeries before I sell the stamps.

Is there one good reference or do I need to consult different books for each country?

Thanks,

Ken

Much of the guidance is actually Victorian in origin - see the footnotes below the country entries on the Stamp Forgeries site

Both of these are tremendous resources. I took me less than 1 minute to determine my Finland #1 was a fake. Oh well!

Thanks
