Hello everyone,

I came across a particular Nigeria Error Sheet that I unknowingly picked up as a lot during my visit to the Nigeria Post Office in Kano city in 2007.

I tried some searching online whether any other such reported errors are existing but couldn't find anything. So I hope the folks here at Stampboards can help me out.

It is a 2001 Definitive Issue featuring Preuss's Monkey... any inputs regarding the rarity of this error and possible valuation of it would be more than welcome.

Thanks in Advance....

Regards,

Shabbir Khambaty

The perforator missed the complete right column.

You might want to contact Stanley Gibbon's Commonwealth Department with your find. No doubt they will be ale to tell you whether it is common or rare. The colour check dots and cylinder numbers look like earlier Courvoisier ones. They are reliable security printing company and I would expect such an error from hem to be rare.

This should receive catalogue status (if it hasn't already), classified as imperforate vertically. Imperforate with the selvedge margin aren't accorded catalogue listings by Stanley Gibbons.
