I have a couple of questions about Scott listings on Argentina.
1. Are 0122 and 0123 photogravure or lithography?
2. 051a, for example, has an overprint of 11 mm; does the catalog explain what the overprint size of 051 is?

Ike,

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences.

Welcome!

1. Did you check to see which type the underlying stamps are? The overprint would just be put on top of the existing stamps.

2. If O51a has an overprint that is 11mm wide, then O51's would be something other than 11mm. Scott will sometimes provide this type of detail, but I suspect a lot of that depends on whether the country is actively collected by whoever is editing the listing. You may need to check other catalogs to get that specific info.
