What is the Gibbons number and valuation on the Scott 78 (block if so listed) with one example of the "missing hyphen & damaged 'K'" variety?

It is not mentioned in Scott.

Thanks, and for visual appeal I will edit in a photo in a while.

See lower left stamp.

Thank you clivel.

I play with plate varieties on US and some other issues and this one caught my eye. It is so striking I was surprised it was not listed in Scott. Alas, I chose not to expand my plate variety collecting to SA. That said the very block pictured (I cropped off most of the top selvage on the block) sold today for $8 plus $1.75 S&H in Dollars. With current exchange rates that makes it only 9-10% of a Gibbons listed pair. It was only hinged in the selvage, the block itself was NH. I prefer the block as it shows a normal, undamaged version as well.

Perhaps I missed a good chance to expand my area.
