I went on Saturday and a lot of dealers were just sitting there with no customers at all. Several of them had already packed up and left! Last year there were a lot more people.

Friday was the busiest day. Saturday afternoon became slow. The weather was nice and the such. I think Sunday was ok as it was a bit busier than Saturday afternoon. The dealers were happy with the results overall, they voted to continue to support a 3-day show vs. asking us to change to 2 days.

We did have one dealer leave on Saturday afternoon. Another long-time local dealer was given the approval to close his table each day at 2pm due to health issues, but otherwise, everyone was there until Sunday afternoon.

The 160 exhibition frames were full and competition was strong. We had 31 competitive exhibits with 15 large gold and 4 gold among the group. http://www.indianastampclub.org/palmar.html br /

I was at the show Friday (quite busy) and Sunday (typically slow as most shows are), but would note that there were a number of meetings on Saturday including the exhibit critique which pull a number of attendees off the bourse floor. Thus not all attendees are constantly shopping the dealers. The spacious room also allows for setting up additional extra tables for eating, socializing, security, etc., There is a lot more behind the scenes to laying out a floor plan and running a show than meets the public's eye.
