The counter or tally tracking my postings has remain unchanged for months despite new/addtl activity.

Is this the same for all Forum members?

Thank you.

I am not sure if this is the case here, but I believe that the post counter only logs certain forum categories. For example, I do not think that it counts anything in the "test" category. The 'Introduce Yourself Here' category is also excluded because, I think, simply posting 'Welcome' is not really considered a quality post.

Keep in mind that we have to guard against some folks who try to run up their post counts just so they can promote their website, sales, etc.

Hi Don and all,

Taking the time to welcome new members and make them feel comfortable posting more moving forward in our hobby is a valuable contribution to the cause. Newbies are shunned by other groups mostly hurting for new members. That being said, I see your point too.

Thanks, Don. Appreciate the explanation.

My posting was more a matter of curiosity, and not intended to communicate any dissatisfaction.

Glad to read of your great news earlier this week.
