Just was going through some small collection of older US on some index cards and this one struck me. Is this a genuine cancel? Looks like something from an acid trip or a USGS topographical map! If authentic, has anyone got the full cancel on cover?

I see the South Korean Taegeuk,
the balance between good and evil.
or, the yin and yang icon, if you will.

I would say wrong on the topographic map idea. This appears to be one continuous line and contours only work that way if it's a ditch.

Does it seem out of place for that stamp?
I've never witnessed anything like that in that era.

May have been explained on later stamps as a fragment of a "slogan"

If genuine perhaps a business / bank cancellation.

Or, somebody playing with rubber stamps?
