Cyprus 1995 International Congress of Cypriot Studies
Pithos Hall is part of a building complex at Ayios Dhimitrios near the Kalavasos Village in southern Cyprus. This urban center is dated to the Late Cypriot II period (ca. 1450 to 1200 BC). The remains of over 50 massive olive oil storage jars (1.5 to 2 m in height) were recovered from this site.

Cyprus 2007 Cyprus through the Ages
This partial stamp set features Stone Vessel from Kalavasos-Tenta (7000 BC), Female Figurine from Kissonerga-Mosphilia (3000 BC), Terracotta Vessel from Vounoi-Bellapais (2000 BC), and Bird Shaped Vessel of Cypro-Geometric III period (800 BC).

Israel 2017 UNESCO World Heritage Sites
Nahal Me'arot Caves are located on the western foothill of Mount Carmel near Haifa. These limestone caves sheltered hominins and prehistoric humans. Among the findings Is a fossilized scull of Homo neanderthalensis dated between ca. 120,000 and 50,000 BC.

Kuwait 1972 Relics of Failaka
Failaka in Kuwait uncovered a Bronze Age settlement of Dilmun traders (ca. 2000 to 1500 BC). Tell F3 revealed rows of small houses inhabited by private families, whereas Tell F6 was the center of a large organization with a production and storage facility.

United Arab Emirates 1994 Archeology
Al Qusais Site is an ancient Bronze Age settlement located in Dubai, UAE. Pottery from this site is dated back to the 3rd to 2nd millennium BC.

United Arab Emirates 2003 Al Ain National Museum
The stamp set features a pottery jar and a pottery vessel (3rd millennium BC), a bronze ax (Iron Age), and a soapstone vessel (1st millennium BC).

Pakistan 1989 Archaeological Artifacts
The stamp set features terracotta utensils of the Indus Valley civilization in Baluchistan: a pitcher from Pirak site (c. 2200 BC), a jar from Nindo Damb site (c. 2300 BC), a vase from Mehrgarh site (c. 3600 BC), and a jar from Nausharo site (c. 2600 BC).

Pakistan 1973 Excavations of Moenjodaro
Moenjodaro is located on the western bank of Indus River in southeastern Pakistan. Built around 2500 BC, it was the largest settlement of the ancient Indus Valley civilization and one of the world's earliest major cities. Most of the structures were built of mud bricks or fired and mortared bricks. The sheer size of the city, and its provision of public buildings and facilities, suggests a high level of social organization.

Pakistan 1984 UNESCO Save Moenjodaro
The stamp set is issued to raise awareness about the decaying ruins and make efforts for its restoration. The designs show Seal of Unicorn from the Indus Valley civilization site (2500-1900 BC).

Iran 1973 Regional Cooperation for Development
Lut Desert in southeastern Iran was site of a flourishing Bronze Age civilization. Ancient cities were built on the edges of the desert. The stamp features a clay bust dated from 2500 to 2300 BC

Iran 1984 Preservation of Cultural Heritage
The archaeological site of Susa is located in the lower Zagros Mountains in southwestern Iran. It contains several layers of superimposed urban settlements in a continuous succession from 4400 BC to 1220 AD. The stamp shows a partially preserved ziggurat built around 1250 BC.

Iran 2015 Archeological Finds from Sialk-Kashan
Tepe Sialk is a large archeological site in a suburb of the city of Kashan in central Iran. The oldest settlements at this site were established around 6000–5500 BC. The pottery vessels shown in the stamp set date are dated to the 1st millennium BC.

India 1961 Centenary of Archaeological Survey of India
Kalibangan pre-historic site is located on the left bank of the Ghaggar in Rajasthan, northwest India. The Indus Valley civilization existed at the site from proto-Harappan age (3500 to 2500 BC) to Harappan age (2500 to 1750 BC). The stamp shows a rectangular terracotta seal depicting a bull and Indus scripts.

India 2011 150 Years of Archaeological Survey of India
Dholavira is located on Khadir bet island in the Great Rann of Kutch in western India. It is the largest and a significant Harappan site (2650-1450 BC) in India. The stamps and minisheet depict the excavated city structures and artifacts retrieved from the site.
