Have never seen "withdrawn" on SAN. I have listened to auctions being called live on SAN and withdrawn lots were noted as "closed"
While I have dealt little with SAN, the fact a honestly withdrawn lot is listed as closed is quite misleading. Withdrawn does signal a number of real possible outcomes which does not include closing after a floor auction. Here in this circumstance we know something was up, but once the date of the sale passes, the closed will have a generic meaning which is misleading.
Withdrawn lots are withdrawn for good reasons, ownership questions, description questions, condition questions, questions of genuineness, and prior sale.
In summary, your comment, provides one well deserved demerit for SAN in my mind.
